McKean Insurance Agency was founded in 2006 in Parker, Colorado with a mission to provide quality insurance and sincere service to residents of Douglas County, Elbert County, and throughout Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, and Idaho.
As independent insurance agents, we have access to a wide variety of auto, home, umbrella and life insurance products. If you love to get outdoors in Colorado, we can insure your boat, motorcycle, ATV, camper or trailer. If you run a business in Colorado, we are experts in commercial insurance and workers compensation.
We are not a "captive" agency. Unlike State Farm, Allstate or Geico, we are not limited to a single line of products at set prices. Instead, as brokers we can "shop around" and get quotes from many exceptional companies. Our agency is proud to be a part of Farmers Union Service Association, an insurance brokerage in Denver.

Ian is a Colorado native who was raised in Castle Rock, earned his Bachelor of Arts from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and built our successful insurance agency since 2006. Ian holds prestigious industry designations as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) after completing extensive and highly respected professional coursework. Ian is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking, hunting and riding ATVs with his family.
Zac Luley

Zac is a licensed insurance agent and skilled professional. He joined our team in 2020 after working on a cybersecurity team supporting PeopleSoft. He brings a friendly and people-focused work ethic after 7 years in the restaurant industry. Zac completed the Liberty Mutual Business Lines Producer Development Program. He was raised in Parker and is a graduate of Chaparral High School. He is an awesome "dog dad" and makes homemade food for his albino lab.

Allie is a licensed insurance agent who joined our team in 2024, and is the friendly and helpful voice who answers our phones. Allie holds her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Metropolitan State University. She was raised in Parker and graduated from Chaparral High School. Allie offers excellent customer service after two years of experience in the airline industry and five years in the restaurant industry. In her free time, she enjoys working out, going to Body Combat classes, walking her dogs and spending time with family and her fiancé.
Angel Derback

Angel is a licensed agent with the same patient and caring demeanor as her namesake. She was licensed in 2022 and joined the McKean Insurance team in 2026. Angel offers courteous and professional assistance for your home, auto and umbrella insurance needs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver. Prior to starting her career in insurance, Angel worked at Castle Pines Golf Course and was a private nanny. When she's not in the office, Angel enjoys hitting the trail with her fiancé and two dogs, as well as kickboxing and baking.
